AVQueuePlayer and AVPlayerLooper keep local MP4 and MOV files moving through a deliberately small playback path.
Borderless, click-through windows sit below Finder icons, never take focus, and preserve ordinary desktop interaction.
A shared player drives one passive wallpaper window per connected screen without multiplying decode work.
Playback pauses across sleep, display sleep, and locked sessions, then recovers only when every suspension reason has cleared.

The app lives in the menu bar rather than the Dock. Choose a video, select its fit, pause when needed, and let macOS restore it at login.

Playback intent is preserved.
No video keeps the screen awake.
A separate suspension state is retained.
Windows and looping playback are rebuilt.

No uploads. No analytics. No tracking. No account. The selected video remains where it already lives.
macOS 13 Ventura or later is required.
Playback is intentionally muted and supports local MP4 or MOV files.
Current public builds are ad-hoc signed and not yet notarized by Apple.
Wallpaper windows remain visible to screenshots and screen sharing.
